Mullah Taqliya
Mullah Taqliya isA traditional Sudanese dish similar to a stew, consisting mainly of finely chopped, fried onions, minced or dried meat, and okra, along with tomatoes and spices. It is characterized by its thick consistency and rich flavor, and is usually served with porridge, kisra, or gurasa.
Tomatoes: Fresh tomatoes or tomato paste are usually added to enhance color and flavor.
Sauce: Tomato paste is added to improve color and taste.
Spices: These include salt, black pepper, garlic, coriander, and sometimes cinnamon or a bouillon cube.
Basic Ingredients
Meat: Minced meat or dried and ground meat.
Onions: Fry until golden brown and soft, then mix with the meat.
Okra: Dried and ground okra, added gradually to thicken the stew.
